Moonlight State Beach
Park at the north lot and walk south along the sand at low tide. The beach curves around the point and gets quieter the farther you go. Late afternoon light hits the cliffs from behind. Morning is empty and cold, which is the real reason to be there.

Pull off D Street and walk to the railing. The bluff drops straight to sand and water. Most people miss this spot entirely, heading for the state beach parking lot three blocks south. You get the view without the crowd, the sunset without the plan.
